the manga was better
The manga is always better.
In my personal opinion, The Cayde-6 rescue ark went on forever in the anime. And the Fall of the Last City ark should of been a bit longer. Hopefully Season 2 doesn't disappoint and is more faithful to the source material.

Oh holy moly! You my friend have a keen eye for editing. As someone already mentioned in the comments, you managed to paint a grand image of the story in a time totalling 1 minute and 38 seconds. Even if this wasn't set to an anime song, the way you paced it and cut it shows how great this is. Hell, in my opinion, Bungie should use this as an official gametrailer. Epic stuff!

Not really. All it shows is they get invaded and maybe something happens to the traveler. Doesn't show the light was taken. Doesn't show the traveler was stolen. The only real gameplay cut scenes you showed was the ones shown when you first start up the game. This shouldve totally been an official trailer.
